Accounting and Reporting Manager - Full Time in Medford, MA

A highly regarded global Services firm and they are seeking a Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager to join their Boston based team! Reporting to the Director of Accounting, the Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager will analyze operational results, prepare flux analyses, reconcile and update assumptions for accounts and prepare the corresponding journal entries, generate supporting consolidated footnote disclosures for 10-Q and 10-K filings, and prepare supporting schedules for SOX compliance activities, quarterly reviews and the annual audit. The Technical Accounting and Reporting Manager will also be responsible for preparing opening balance sheets and all purchase accounting for the firms acquisitions, working closely with Development, Shared Services and Real Estate Groups to coordinate due diligence and purchase accounting activities, and providing technical accounting guidance surrounding purchase accounting, lease accounting, valuation and related acquisition matters.
